My favorite Sally Rooney—about a university student struggling with feelings for a married man and her ex/best friend, now platonic. She and her friend meet a couple, starting extramarital affairs, amid school, family, and coming-of-age woes. It's weird but one I'd have loved in my fall university days. Most Rooney books miss for me, but this hits. Perfect for autumn introspection.
