I just finished The Metamorphosis and it's absolutely incredible, though I didn't include it on my top 10 because I need to stew on it a bit longer. It's the story of a man who wakes up one morning transformed into a bug and has to navigate his life from there. I expected it to be hilarious, and there are some funny moments, but it's actually a quite devastating tale about struggle and isolation. I highly recommend reading it; you can finish it in about two hours, and it's really worth your time.
