“Legacy of madness unravels via mysterious letter's journey.”
BookTuber Opinions
The Unmaking of June Farrow is a heartbreaking feat where everything clicked—atmosphere, plot, characters—following June in her small town where women in her family legacy descend into insanity with hallucinations she fears is starting for her. A mysterious letter launches her on a journey I won't spoil, but it transformed how I see her story. I started Adrienne Young with Fable (great for pirate adventures), but this standalone shines in emotional depth and eerie buildup, feeling slightly autumnal yet perfect for summer introspection. Her ideas are incredible; here, the execution was flawless, leaving me changed. If you want a fantasy that hits hard without giving away twists, dive in—it's worth every page.
