Fourth Wing

I never predicted this would rank so high; it's junk food literature that's horribly written and probably gave me brain rot. But my gosh, it's so much fun—the sheer excitement of dragons, building romantic tension, and dangerous thrills made it the most entertaining book this year. In the end, the political analysis is shallow and world-building lacks depth. I devoured it despite the flaws because of the addictive highs. I'd highly recommend for escapist fantasy romance fans who want thrills over substance.
