House of Hollow was my first Krystal Sutherland book, and while I prefer The Invocations, it still delivers with its weird sisters who vanished as kids, returning with collective amnesia and magnetic strangeness that unnerves everyone. Following them as one goes missing uncovers their past disappearance, set against vivid scenes like sweaty warehouse parties and a crumbling house with gross magic, like flowers ripping from faces. The London backdrop and body horror elements made it sticky and memorable, though I read it a while ago. It's got that can't-look-away oddity and secretive family vibe I enjoy from her writing. I'm excited for more from this author—recommend if you want eerie, gross fantasy with sibling mystery.
