“Chaol's redemption quest weaves romance and political intrigue.”

I'm about 50% or more through this sixth book in the Throne of Glass series as a tandem read, but I'm slowing down because I'm at a slower part for me. I'm most invested in Chaol and Nesryn's storyline and feel nervous enjoying it since the author might toy with it, but I like their dynamic. As for Irene and Chaol's relationship, I'm not sold—maybe because I don't like Chaol—and I feel their perspectives need more going on, even though the book is about him; people say it redeems him, but I doubt it'll change my mind. I'm starting to get interested in the Yrene and Liruen points of view; I love how Yrene has grown mentally powerful despite shrinking herself, and Liruen is old and funny. I like Aedion but he's not my favorite yet, hoping that changes.
✨I MEAN, IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE HONESTLY ✨SEPTEMBER WRAP UP (with a super slow reader) 💕
