Heartless Hunter

If you love a blood witch main character hiding her powers while hunted, but secretly hunting witch hunters for revenge on her lost sisters, this promises that but doesn't deliver—there's as much slaying as in the Salem trials. However, it nails the fake dating between a blood witch and witch hunter who suspect each other, with both POVs showing them circling, building delicious tension. As long as you're okay with them professing undying love after 300 pages in typical YA style, it's engaging. I disliked the unfulfilled revenge plot but loved the romantic suspense; I'd recommend for tension junkies in witchy romances.
